2021-IFB-01 Curtola Park and Ride Battery Electric Bus Infrastructure Improvements

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Solano County Transit (SolTrans) will receive sealed construction bids for the: Curtola Park and Ride Battery Electric Bus Infrastructure Improvements by an electronic bidding process. Paper bids will not be accepted. Electronic bids shall be submitted through https://www.bidexpress.com/solicitations/18879 until 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 22, 2021 after which time said bids will be opened electronically only due to COVID restrictions. 

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting for the project will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the SolTrans Conference Room located at 1850 Broadway Street, Vallejo, CA 94589. 

General work description: Installation of electrical infrastructure and paving improvements required to support two 300kW inductive battery electric bus chargers at the existing transit center under the Caltrans 2018 Standard Specifications and Standard Plans.

The Engineer’s cost estimate is approximately $900,000.00 and the completion time is 70 working days. A Class A or B General Engineering Contractors license is required and the successful bidder must pay prevailing wages.
