Free Bus Passes

Students hopping on the bus for their commutes

Where would you go with a free all day bus pass? You could hitch a ride to Fairfield on the new Red Line, cruise to City Park on the Yellow Line or explore other Benicia and Vallejo hot-spots on the revised local routes. Whatever you choose, it could be on us!

For the next few months we will host bi-weekly giveaways on various social media platforms and top entrants will selected to receive one free day pass for any local and/or express routes. Below are some program details on some questions you may have:

Am I eligible?

If you are 13 years of age or older the answer is yes. Previous giveaway winners are also allowed to enter future giveaways, however entrants can only win one pass per giveaway challenge. That means it is possible to win more than one bus pass over the next few months!

How do I enter?

To enter the giveaway, you must submit or follow required actions on one of social media platforms, as stated in the description of said SolTrans social media post. In addition, you must follow our social media account, like the giveaway post and tag us on your submission post. You may also be required to provide a short caption and a given hashtag.

How are winners selected?

Winners will be selected based on creativity, quality or timeliness of their submission, depending on the giveaway. All posts that contain any inappropriate content (including but not limited to: sexually explicit content, images of violence, hate groups, illegal activity or profanity) will be subject to disqualification from current and future Solano County Transit (SolTrans) giveaways.

What’s the first challenge?

The first challenge will be released soon, but it will most likely involve taking a picture of a particular frozen treat. An announcement with the exact details and on what social media platforms it will be held on will be shared with the SolTrans community soon, so be sure to be on the lookout!

Materials will be provided in the requested accessible format as soon as possible. Requests for documents in screen reader-compatible or large print formats can generally be fulfilled within five business days. Braille or audio formats may take up to several weeks to produce, depending on the availability of braille translation or compliant audio recording services.
