Notice: Discontinuation of Regional Paratransit Service

Effective September 1, 2019

SolTrans will discontinue the SolTrans-operated, regional paratransit service that provides connections to other regional, ADA paratransit operators. The regional paratransit service will be administered by the Solano Mobility, except for direct connection transfers between SolTrans and Napa VINEGo, which will continue to be operated by SolTrans. Trips to Fairfield will be transitioned to Solano Mobility programs, while trips to Concord and Pinole will discontinue.

There is no legal requirement for SolTrans to provide service outside its service area (Benicia and Vallejo), however given the rising cost to operate the regional paratransit service, the service is no longer sustainable.

We will continue to work closely with Solano Mobility to ensure that our customers are able to access the transportation they need. Please note the discontinuation of the regional service will NOT impact SolTrans local ADA paratransit service in anyway.
