August 2019 Service Change

EFFECTIVE SUNDAY, AUGUST 11, 2019

The following Routes will receive minor schedule adjustments to accommodate the Benicia and Vallejo School bell schedules.

• Route 1-  will receive minor time adjustments to the Southbound trip. The current 6:20 a.m. southbound trip will now depart Rancho Square at 6:15 a.m. and each time-point from there will push back 5 minutes.
• Route 2– the first departure from Vallejo Transit Center at 5:45 a.m. will now depart at 5:40 a.m. and each time-point following will depart 5 minutes earlier.
  • Route 12– New school route that will serve Solano Middle School on Corcoran, the route will depart Rancho Square Stop ID 825003 at 7:11 a.m., follow the Route 1 loop through Ranch Vallejo and cross Sonoma to Mini Drive, Solano Middle School arrival at 7:30 a.m. to Gateway & Fairgrounds at 7:35 a.m. At this point the Route 12 will become the southbound Route 2 7:45 a.m. departure.
• Route 8– bus stop addition at Glen Cove & Robles.
• Route 7A- To accommodate Jesse Bethel students that live in North Vallejo/ Crest the 7A will reroute through North Vallejo and the current 7:30 a.m. departure will now depart the Vallejo Transit Center at 7:35 a.m. it will follow the regular 7A as far as Redwood, then follow the Route 5 routing along Fairgrounds, Sage, Gateway, then back to the 7A via Hwy 37 East arriving at Jesse Bethel High School at 8:13 a.m.
• Route 15/17- Pocket schedule have been updated to reflect new calendar schedule; no time points were changed.
• Route 38- Will now begin at Gateway Plaza at 7:11 a.m. and follow the 7A routing past Jesse Bethel to Hogan Middle school and then follow the Route 8 routing to Glen Cove and back up following the Route 3 along Magazine, it will turn onto 80 North to Benicia Rd, Rolling Wood, Springs, Columbus, Ascot, Arriving at Jesse Bethel at 8:15 a.m. see schedule for all departure times.

Sunday Red Line– will increase Sunday service from every hour to every half hour. See schedule for all Vallejo Transit Center departure times.

Red Line Bus Stops added to the route will include:

• Suisun Valley Rd and West America, Red Line Southbound
• Sonoma Blvd and Sereno, Red Line both North and Southbound

Staff is closely monitoring the Red Line schedule and routing. More extensive service adjustments will go into effect winter 2019.
