Youth Ride FREE Pilot

Beginning, Monday, April 1, 2024, all youth ages 6-18 will have FREE fares on all SolTrans Local Routes and SolanoExpress Lines. This is a pilot program that will run from April 2024 through June 2025. In the Spring of 2025, staff will return to the SolTrans Board with directions on whether to fully adopt the Youth Free Fare or not. The pilot’s goals are to promote access to public transit to a new generation, increase attendance at the local school districts, and grow ridership.
