SolTrans Continues Beautification of Sereno Transit Center

In their continuing effort to make their transit centers and bus shelters clean, safe and attractive for the community, SolTrans has added some enhancements to Sereno Transit Center. This past week SolTrans added three beautiful planters filled with colorful, drought-tolerant perennials, more outlets for riders to charge their cell phones and more trash cans.

“We are pleased to be a member of the community and are committed to keeping our transit areas safe, accessible and beautiful,” stated Pat Carr, SolTrans General Services Manager.  “We have further improvements planned for the Sereno site, including painting the four shelters, adding additional trash receptacles and converting two tall poles into LED lighting. Real-time signs that tell our riders exactly when their bus will be arriving are also on the horizon,” said Carr.
