2020-RFP-02 Transit Operations and Maintenance Services

SolTrans is requesting proposals from qualified Firms for Transit Operations and Maintenance Services. The resulting contract will be for a five-year term from the start date with five one-year terms at the option of SolTrans.

The services to be provided under this RFP are:

  • SolTrans’ local and regional commuter express (Solano Express) fixed route bus service, including dispatching and service planning activities described in Appendix A of the RFP.
  • Complimentary ADA paratransit, including scheduling and dispatching
  • Customer Service/Ticket Sales at the Broadway Facility and Vallejo Transit Center
  • Revenue and non-revenue vehicle maintenance
  • Administrative activities necessary to fully support the program areas listed above

The Transit Operations and Maintenance Services Contractor shall recognize and perform in accordance with all stated intents, specifications, and stipulations contained or referenced herein including any general information pertinent to proposal preparation. The specifications and scope of services described in the RFP shall become part of the agreement awarded to the successful Proposer.
