Service Alert: Sonoma Blvd. Pavement Repair

Effective Wednesday, September 16 through Thursday, September 17, 2020

Caltrans will begin their SR-29 Sonoma Boulevard Maintenance Pavement Repair Project in the next few weeks, which will result in a smoother street surface on Vallejo’s busiest street. In order to support Caltrans in their efforts to get this project complete, several SolTrans routes will have to detour off Sonoma Boulevard. In addition, riders may experience delays across all routes during the days of construction.

Below are the routes that will detour and stops that will be missed during construction :

September 16th
Routes 4, 7A, 7B and the Red Line will detour, but no stops will be missed.

September 17th (thru possibly September 21st)
Route 3 Westbound will detour and 5 stops will be missed:

  • Sandy Beach & Sonoma (STOP ID 821019)
  • Porter & Adams (STOP ID 821025)
  • Porter & Magazine (STOP ID 821026)
  • Sonoma & Winchester (STOP ID 821028)
  • Sonoma & McLane (STOP ID 821029)
  • Sonoma & Solano (STOP ID 821031)

Please plan ahead accordingly — we suggest using the stop at Magazine & Sheridan (STOP ID 821020) as an alternative.
