September 2019 Service Changes

Effective Sunday, September 22, 2019

Route 20 will be eliminated, the last day of service for the Route 20 will be Friday, September 20.

Benicia General Public Dial-A-Ride service will discontinue. The last day Benicia Dial-A-Ride will operate will be Saturday, September 21, 2019.

Qualified riders needing transportation service within Benicia city limits can utilize the Subsidized Benicia Lyft Pilot Program:

The program is for qualified seniors (65+), veterans, ADA Paratransit-certified or low-income individuals taking trips within Benicia.

Through this program, Lyft can provide pickup/drop-off at the following travel destinations:  

Must apply through Solano Mobility 800-535-6883. Eligibility Requirements:

  • 65+  or
  • Veterans or
  • ADA Paratransit certified or
  • Low Income.

Qualifying seniors, ADA-certified, and veterans will pay $4 per trip, while low-income individuals will pay $3 per trip. Visit our Benicia Subsidized Lyft Program FAQs for more information.
