Bus Capacity Update

Mandi Renshaw

Effective Monday, June 7, 2021

Based on the June 2nd County Public Health Order placing Solano County into the less restrictive Orange Tier, we have updated the number of passengers we can allow on board while still maintaining a safe distance. On Monday, June 7th SolTrans will increase on-board passenger capacity to 50%. We continue to ask passengers to socially distance as able. The first 2 rows on buses will remain blocked off to ensure safe distance is maintained between passengers and Drivers. Per TSA, masks are still required on public transit.

To meet social distancing requirements, SolTrans must continue to limit passenger capacity as follows – this may vary depending on how many people are riding in groups:

  • 26 passengers on SolanoExpress Lines
  • 18 passengers on Local Routes
  • 6 on Paratransit

More information about what SolTrans is doing to reduce the spread of COVID-19 can be found on the COVID-19 Updates Page.
