August 2021 Service Change

Effective Sunday, August 1, 2021

This is the first-time service has increase since the 2020 reductions caused by the COVID-19 global pandemic. Phase I of the Service Restoration Plan will go into effect on Sunday, August 1, 2021. The August service change concentrates on increasing local access on Saturdays and making schedule adjustments to SolanoExpress Lines in preparation for BARTs August 30^th service change and reinstating the school tripper routes that support Benicia and Vallejo School bell schedules. Updated schedules will be posted on the website June 22, 2021 and information will be posted on the buses and on our social media platforms.  

All schedules have been updated July 16, 2021 to reflect the lift of capacity and distancing restrictions.

Local Routes:

• All Local Routes will operate on Saturdays individual schedules below:
  • Route 1
  • Route 2
  • Route 3
  • Route 4
  • Route 5
  • Route 6
  • Route 7A
  • Route 7B
  • Route 8
• School Trippers 15, 17 and 38 will run with the reopening of schools the week of August 17^th.
  • Schedules have been updated to accommodate Benicia’s new bell schedules.

SolanoExpress Service

• Yellow Line Weekday- service frequency increased to hourly departures to and from Vallejo Transit Center and Walnut Creek BART. Schedule below:

• Red Line
  • Service Weekdays Days, schedule below:
    • Red line full schedule adjustment to accommodate for BARTs schedule change later in the month and for more efficient transfers from bus to train and train to bus. Service will remain 30 minute in am and pm peak and hourly mid-day. No capacity restriction will be enforced.
  • Red Line Service Saturdays Only:
    • full schedule adjustment to accommodate for BARTs schedule change Monday, August 2 and for more efficient transfers from bus to train and train to bus. No changes to Red Line Sunday Schedule.

  • One new Route 82 trip will be added to the a.m. schedule and trips times were adjusted in schedule below:
