Transit Worker Appreciation Week

On Thursday, March 18, SolTrans will celebrate Transit Operator and Worker Appreciation Day. We’d like to invite you to join us in honoring these workers on social media, not just on Thursday but ALL week long.

Transit workers are not just our frontline operators, they are maintenance crews, mechanics, dispatchers, customer service representatives and others who have kept our communities running safely all year round. Let’s show them how important they are, not only to the industry, but to the riders who depend on them everyday.

Let transit operators and workers know how much we appreciate them by:

  • Using the hashtag #thankstransit (Transit Operator and Worker Appreciation Day) on social media
  • Follow SolTrans on social media and share your SolTrans transit experience as a thank you post, because without you we wouldn’t have anyone to transport.
  • Fill out a “Leave a Comment” to formally thank a staff member for all they do

To obtain a copy of any SolTrans policy, marketing materials, public records, or other information in an accessible format, please call (707) 648-4666, or submit your request using the feedback form at the bottom of any page at soltrans.org.

Materials will be provided in the requested accessible format as soon as possible. Requests for documents in screen reader-compatible or large print formats can generally be fulfilled within five business days. Braille or audio formats may take up to several weeks to produce, depending on the availability of braille translation or compliant audio recording services.
