If you’ve been looking for something to do with your family and friends, look no further because we’re taking you to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. At Six Flags, you can enjoy rides, live shows, animal attractions and entertainment. There are nearly 50 different rides to choose from, including the new Batman Ride, the first 4-D Fly Coaster that just opened this past May. Make your way over to other thrill rides like Kong, Medusa, or the award-winning Superman Ultimate Flight. You can also partake in family and group-rides like Monsoon Falls, The Ark, and White Water Safari. And of course, there are the classics: Boardwalk Bumper Buggies, Safari Jeep Tours, and Seaside Railway.

This summer is the perfect time for you to get in on all the fun, especially with some special Six Flags events like:

  • Boys and Girls Club Funday on July 12;
  • California Park and Recreational Society (CPRS) Month throughout July; and
  • Six Flags Family Day in August

Did you know? Six Flags is partnered with CPRS, a nonprofit organization that has been around since 1946 trying to unite the community through park and recreation and promoting health and wellness. Here is a link to learn more about the California Park and Recreation Society.

To make your trip more convenient and affordable, take advantage of our Summer Slice promotion — anyone ages 6 to 18 can purchase a local day pass for just one dollar or a local 31 day pass for just $15. In addition, we suggest taking the Route 5 or the Red Line, to avoid the hassle of parking. Route 5 arrives every 30 minutes during the weekdays and every hour on Saturdays. The Red Line arrives about every hour during the weekdays and about every other hour on Saturdays.

Tip: Stay safe on any theme parks that you visit this summer using this amusement park safety guide so that you and your family have an enjoyable and safe time.
