Next Stop is a series that focuses on activities, eateries and shopping locations near SolTrans bus stops throughout Solano County and will have semi-weekly installments throughout the summer. In case you missed it, here’s the previous ‘Next Stop’ article featuring Solano Town Center.

At our last stop, we visited the Solano Town Center on the Red Line and looked at all of the possibilities for entertainment, shopping and dining. If you’re looking to explore a different area for your next shopping spree, then look no further because the Yellow Line can take you to Sunvalley Mall in Concord. Day passes for this “out of county” excursion costs $10 for adults and $8 for the youth. This day pass will allow you to take the Yellow Line to and from Concord on every day of the week. On weekdays, buses leave Curtola Park and Ride and Vallejo Transit Center every 30 minutes starting at 12:56 PM. From either location, the trip should take about an hour with easy access wifi available on board. Once you arrive at the Sunvalley Shopping Center, there is an abundance of activities to choose from:

  • Food: There’s no debate that Sunvalley Mall has tons of restaurants to fulfill your appetites. Be a part of the poke bowl trend by customizing your own sushi bowl at the Uncle Sharkii Poke Bar. Hungry for some barbeque? You can get $10 off a 3 course meal for two at Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ or you can pack a huge portion of Mongolian barbeque for $9.50 at Sun Gate BBQ. We’re certain that you’ll be stuffed no matter which spot you choose!
  • Shopping: You’re in luck because some of the hottest summer deals are out now! ALDO is having an end-of-season sale where you’ll be able to get 70% off select styles. In addition, H&M currently has a 15% off store-wide discount, so be sure to take advantage of it while it lasts. If none of these stores appeal to you, you can check out the newly opened A’Gaci, American One, Windsor and Finish Line stores.
  • Entertainment: Everyday from 10 PM to 2 AM, Round 1 offers entertainment for groups of friends or family, including bowling, arcade games, billiards, darts, ping pong and karaoke. No matter your age, you will spend hours of fun in Round 1. For parents with kids, you can attend Summer Fun Thursdays in Grand Court.; on July 25 there will be an interactive performance by Liberty Gymnastics and on August 1 there will be a Music & Dance performance by Dance Connection. In addition, on August 8, the Oakland Zoo will provide a Live Animal Show.

Whether you are looking for delicious food, stylish clothes or a day of fun, the Sunvalley Mall has everything you need to make great memories with your friends and family this summer!
