Reasonable Modification of Policies and Procedures

Effective September 17, 2015

SolTrans is committed to providing safe, reliable, and accessible transportation servicess. To ensure equity and fairness, and to comply with Federal law, SolTrans has a process for requesting Reasonable Modifications to existing Policies and Procedures to avoid discrimination on the basis of disability. SolTrans grants such modifications on an individual basis provided that do so:

  1. is within the authority of SolTrans;
  2. does not fundamentally alter the nature of its services;
  3. does not constitute a direct threat to the health and safety of others;
  4. will not impose an unreasonable financial or administrative burden; and
  5. will not require the commission of an illegal act on the part of SolTrans or its contractors.

To obtain a copy of any SolTrans policy, marketing materials, public records, or other information in an accessible format, please call (707) 648-4666, email us at info@soltransride.com, or submit your request using the feedback form at the bottom of any page at soltransride.com.

Materials will be provided in the requested accessible format as soon as possible. Requests for documents in screen reader-compatible or large print formats can generally be fulfilled within five business days. Braille or audio formats may take up to several weeks to produce, depending on the availability of braille translation or compliant audio recording services.
