Code of Conduct

Effective March 20, 2014

SolTrans has adopted a Code of Conduct policy. SolTrans delivers safe, reliable and efficient transportation services that link people, jobs, and our communities. By riding with SolTrans, you agree to follow the Code of Conduct, which applies to our entire bus system. Violations may result in immediate removal from a bus or facility and suspension of riding privileges.

ADA Complaints Policy

SolTrans is committed to providing safe, reliable, and accessible transportation services. Any person who believes that they have been discriminated against or denied full participation in SolTrans’ services or programs on the basis of disability is encouraged to file an ADA complaint. Customers may file ADA complaints using the webform at soltrans.org, by email to info@soltransride.com, by telephone at (707) 736-6990, and by mail or in person at:

Reasonable Modification of Policies and Procedures

Effective September 17, 2015

SolTrans is committed to providing safe, reliable, and accessible transportation servicess. To ensure equity and fairness, and to comply with Federal law, SolTrans has a process for requesting Reasonable Modifications to existing Policies and Procedures to avoid discrimination on the basis of disability. SolTrans grants such modifications on an individual basis provided that do so:

  1. is within the authority of SolTrans;
  2. does not fundamentally alter the nature of its services;
  3. does not constitute a direct threat to the health and safety of others;
  4. will not impose an unreasonable financial or administrative burden; and
  5. will not require the commission of an illegal act on the part of SolTrans or its contractors.

Tickets and Passes Distribution Policy

Effective May 18, 2017

This policy governs the distribution, use and reporting of tickets or passes to a facility, event, show or performance for entertainment, amusement, recreation or similar purpose donated or given to SolTrans.

Materials will be provided in the requested accessible format as soon as possible. Requests for documents in screen reader-compatible or large print formats can generally be fulfilled within five business days. Braille or audio formats may take up to several weeks to produce, depending on the availability of braille translation or compliant audio recording services.
