Children

Children age 5 and under ride free, maximum two per fare paying passenger. Additional children pay youth fare.

Reduced Fare Eligibility
Senior 65+ / Disabled / Medicare Recipients

To qualify you must present one of the following:

  • Photo ID with birthdate indicating 65+
  • Valid Medicare Card with photo ID
  • Regional Transit Connection (RTC)   Discount Card
  • DMV Disabled License Plate Registration
  • DMV Disabled Parking Placard printout

Regional Transit Connection (RTC) Discount Card

The RTC Discount Card is available to qualified persons with disabilities. The card makes it easier for you to demonstrate your eligibility for reduced fares on fixed route bus, rail and ferry systems throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

To see if you are eligible for the Regional Transit Connection (RTC) Discount Card and to apply, visit 511.org/transit/accessibility/discount or call Customer Service at (707) 648-4666.

To better enable us to serve you in arriving at to your destination on time, please have the proper fare and valid identification ready upon boarding.  Drivers do not carry cash and fareboxes require exact change.

Please note that all SolTrans passes and tickets have an expiration date, and are not refundable or exchangeable.

To obtain a copy of any SolTrans policy, marketing materials, public records, or other information in an accessible format, please call (707) 648-4666, email us at info@soltransride.com, or submit your request using the feedback form at the bottom of any page at soltransride.com.

Materials will be provided in the requested accessible format as soon as possible. Requests for documents in screen reader-compatible or large print formats can generally be fulfilled within five business days. Braille or audio formats may take up to several weeks to produce, depending on the availability of braille translation or compliant audio recording services.
